Caitlin Rose

Caitlin is overjoyed to share the Shakespeare experience in Steamboat Springs this summer! Caitlin is an actor & model from Knoxville, Tennessee. This fall, they’ll begin their final year with FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Florida and earn their MFA next spring! Credits include: Romeo in Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet and Julie in Miss Julie at FSU/Asolo Conservatory; Milady (u/s) in Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers at Asolo Rep; Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Knoxville Shakespeare; Ophelia in Hamlet and Laura in The Glass Menagerie at Clayton Center for the Arts. “To thine own self be true.” @aroseby.anyothername

John Leggett

John is excited to return to the Yampa Valley for his second season with Piknik Theatre! Originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, John is currently a resident actor and MFA Candidate in Florida State University’s Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in residence at Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota Florida. Recent Credits include Asolo Conservatory’s Romeo & Juliet (Tybalt) and Chekhov’s The Three Sisters (Baron Tuzenbach), Asolo Rep’s The Three Musketeers (Fight Swing w/performance, U/S D’Artagnan, Aramis, King Louis XIII et. al.). Last summer, John was seen in Piknik Theatre’s World Premiere of Patches! A New Musical (Will) and as “Captain Codfish” a.k.a. James T. Hook in Peter Pan. John is a SAFD Certified Actor Combatant, distinguished in six weapons, and hopes to pursue certified teaching of stage combat. John plans to return to NYC following completion of grad school. Thanks to Stuart Handloff for the opportunity and for keeping theatre alive in Steamboat. Thank you for supporting live theatre!

Jackson Purdy
(he/him/his)

Jackson is a professional actor from Bellows Falls, VT and a recent graduate from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Recent credits include Dial M for Murder and Inherit the Wind (Asolo Rep), Sense and Sensibility, An Inspector Calls, and Love’s Labour’s Lost (Asolo Conservatory), and Philadelphia Young Playwrights. Much love to his friends and family.
