TWO WEEK CAMP & PRODUCTION

Dive into the world of storytelling and Latin culture for two exciting weeks! Campers will explore acting, storytelling, and creative play while invoking the stories and spirit of classic tales from Anglo and Latin literature. This camp is designed to introduce kids and teens to creative language, movement, characters, and themes in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment.

Campers will work together to write, rehearse and perform new versions of classic cross-cultural fables and folktales, culminating in a final showcase for family and friends. No prior acting experience is necessary—just a love for creativity and a willingness to have fun!

Camp Details

  • Dates: June 16–27, 2025 (Monday–Friday)

  • Times: 9:00 AM – noon PM daily

  • Location: Branham Strawberry Park Amphitheatre, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

  • Ages: 9–16

  • Cost: $399 per camper (10% sibling discount available)

  • Registration Deadline: June 1, 2025

  • Scholarships are available as needed (no young person will be denied the camp experience based on ability to pay)

Piknik Theatre is Northwest Colorado's only professional theatre company producing free outdoor performances for the past 17 years. Each year we offer a variety of productions for all ages for up to 1500 audience members. Our educational outreach programming offers affordable workshops for young artists during our summer workshops and in-school productions.
